YEOVIL GP PRACTICE INVITES PATIENTS AND CARERS TO LEARN MORE ABOUT LIVING WITH DEMENTIA

The subject of dementia and how to live well with a diagnosis of the condition is the topic for discussion at a forthcoming ‘Dementia Event’ taking place at the Preston Grove Medical Centre in Yeovil next week.

Organised by the surgery’s Patient Participation Group, patients registered with the medical centre and their relatives are welcome to listen to a number of local medical experts talking about the condition at an event taking place at the centre on Tuesday 21 April, from 6.30pm until 8.30pm. 

Speakers include:

  • Dr Lucy Knight and Dr Elizabeth Drew, psychiatrists with the Somerset Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
  • Jill Lock, from the Alzheimer’s Society
  • Alison Rowswell, a commissioning manager with Somerset Clinical Commissioning Group
