Dr Jayne Chidgey-Clark is a Registered Nurse, and her clinical speciality was end of life care. She brings to the Governing Body an inspirational clinical leader, programme director, communicator and motivator of people, and is an experienced director and senior manager in the NHS, Higher Education, private and voluntary sector, with significant Board level experience.
Alongside transformation and organisational change management, project and programme management, clinical, research and education experience (Jayne has a PhD and has held research and education roles), Jayne has a thorough understanding of public sector policy, including service improvement techniques and delivery, facilitation and training. She is experienced in quality, risk and governance, and is passionate about patient safety, the patient experience, and patient and public involvement in service transformation.
Jayne worked for three years with the NHS England New Care Models Programme (Vanguards) as a Clinical Associate and has been working as a consultant, interim senior manager and coach in her Limited Company, The JCC Partnership Ltd, since March 2015.
Jayne is also a trained Sundoor Master Firewalk Instructor, Motivational Coach and Breathwork Practitioner, and a Master Practitioner of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and Hypnosis. Her company strapline is “Integrity and Excellence Always” and this sums up her approach to all her work.
Jayne is also a Freedom to Speak up Guardian for the CCG. Freedom to Speak Up Guardians give independent support and advice to staff in the CCG to raise any concerns they have.
