Grahame Paine

Grahame’s career has developed his general management skills alongside a MBA from University of Bath, whilst establishing a deep understanding of healthcare, operations management and of bank payment systems.

He joined Lloyds Banking Group in 1976 based in London and moved to the West Country in 1990 continuing his work in a variety of roles with the Bank until 2005.  

Following a significant road traffic accident near his home on the Mendip Hills, and his subsequent treatment at Weston General Hospital, Grahame chose to become an independent interim leader, undertaking a variety of senior roles in central government (predominantly with the Rural Payments Agency), higher education (initially at University of Arts London and later at GSM London and Weston College) and financial services (Bank of England, NBNK, Leaseplan, Shawbrook Bank, Access Bank (UK) and Turkish Bank (UK).
