Important information

Whilst under normal circumstances the public are welcome to attend our Part A Somerset Primary Care Commissioning Committee meetings, Government social distancing requirements relating to the Covid19 pandemic constitute ‘special reasons’ to avoid face to face gatherings.

Until further notice, all Somerset Primary Care Commissioning Committee meetings will be held virtually by default.

If you would like to view the Meeting proceedings in real time, please send a request by email to: . We will then be able to send you the MS Teams link and associated guidance. At present, Meetings will not be recorded for viewing at a later stage.

It will not be possible for us to take public questions on the day. However, we are happy to address any public questions received electronically (in advance) at the beginning of the meeting.  Please note that we may need to defer public questions should the focus of the meeting need to be prioritised in relation to Covid-19.

Questions should be succinct and relevant to general health care commissioning: they should not raise personal or individual issues.  So we can reply as fully as possible, we ask that public questions are submitted on the Public Questions Form (at the bottom of the page, below) in advance of the meeting via e-mail to: A response will be sent directly to the individual who raised the question and in due course may also be put on a Q & A section on this page to enable members of the public to view.

Part A agenda papers and minutes will continue to be published under the relevant meeting date as normal.
