Important information

Whilst under normal circumstances the public are welcome to attend our Part A Somerset Primary Care Commissioning Committee meetings, Government social distancing requirements relating to the Covid19 pandemic constitute ‘special reasons’ to avoid face to face gatherings.

Until further notice all Somerset Primary Care Commissioning Committee meetings will be held virtually by default.  We are happy to take any public questions received electronically (in advance) at the beginning of the meeting.  However we may need to defer any questions should the focus of the meeting need to be prioritised in relation to Covid-19.

Although it will not be possible for you to join the virtual meeting, we will record the public section of the meeting and load it to the website for members of the public to see.

Questions should be succinct and relevant to general health care commissioning; they should not raise personal or individual issues.  So we can reply as fully as possible, we ask that public questions are submitted on the Public Questions Form (at the bottom of the page) at least three working days in advance of the meeting via e-mail to:

A response will be sent directly to the individual who raised the question and will also be put on a Q & A section on this page to enable members of the public to view.

Part A agenda papers and minutes will continue to be published under the relevant meeting date as normal.
